To choose the most perspective configuration of Carnot batteries for waste heat utilization, to create 1-D balance models of the concept heat pump+accumulation tank+ORC and perform sensitivity analysis to predict the behaviour at the off-design points. To create model business case studies to showcase the potential for different types of industries fit to their specific waste heat profile and the temperature level. To find the barriers that block the potential widespread of the technology and to propose how to overcome them. To design and experimentally verify the pair of a heat pump and the accummulation tank based on the stone dust principle. Measurement of the heat pump charging dynamics and the temperature profile inside the vessel with stone dust.
