For Czech municipalities seeking the path towards Smart City concept there is currently lack of suitable tools for self-evaluation that would give them information on their progress. New methodology is needed that will help cities evaluate their innovativeness vis-à-vis the sustainability of their development. The methodology will take into account the quality of life / subjective wellbeing. Three municipalities of different sizes were selected to verify the methodology – Praha 3, Kladno and Pacov. The methodology shall include the principles of Smart City as well as a set of indicators and guidelines how to work with them. The methodology shall be accessible before the ond of 2018.
