The motivation for CAMEB is the exhaustion (scarcity) of non-renewable, both material and energy sources, and its impact on construction industry. Actual trend of energy efficient buildings massively reduces operational energy demand, but material and energy intensity of construction grows steeply. CAMEB gathers partners with competences that enable highly efficient use of resources in construction by means of life cycle optimization through the principles of circular and knowledge economy. Support by modern technologies — IT, optimization, modeling and process management — will be provided.
