The aim of the project is to develop advanced procedures for design and production of some configurations of steel and composite joints, which will enhance to safety and economic attractiveness of steel and composite structures. Partial aims:

  • Derivation of analytical formulae for calculation the effective width of concrete slab
  • in compression at the inner joint of the composite steel-concrete frame
  • Create an analytical model for verifying the bearing capacity of gusset plate
  • Determine the process for cold welding of form elements from high-strength steel
  • Determine the process for the welding of stainless steel elements with emphasis on the mechanical properties of the joint
  • Increase the competitiveness of Czech designers
  • Increase the portion of young scientists in science
